So easy to fall behind….
T-Ball ended towards the end of July. Here are the last pictures from his last game. Game day was more hectic than usual. I searched the house for about 2 hours for his team shirt…..couldn’t find it anywhere. I thought I was going crazy! The following day, Carter found it; he stuffed it in his M&M lunch box and forgot about it. I will not forget that hiding spot from now on! T-Ball family night was lots of fun for the kids. They had a fire truck and a police car set up. The kids were allowed to walk through the fire truck and even use the hose (of course with help of a fire fighter). They sat in the cop car, both front seat and back. (I hope that’s the last time I see Carter back there….lol) The big surprise was the medic helicopter that flew in! That was a sight for all of us. The kids were allowed to look in briefly, but it was very cool!! (Sorry forgot my camera that night!!)

Carter wasn’t the only one who gained a friend from T-Ball. Carlee and I also made friends. We ended up at a playdate about a week ago. The kids had a blast! They probably ate them out of popsicles, but they all seemed to get along and have a good time. Check out the pictures and video below. Thanks Tracy, Aiden & Taelyn!! Hope we can do it again!

Call me an old fogy, but I jumped at the opportunity to go see the Beach Boys at Wisconsin Valley Fair. I had a great time with my MIL and her friends! See the pictures below.

| Beach Boys ******************** We finally decided to camp a weekend this year! It seems that the summer has slipped away without realizing it, as usual. Decided to take the camper and head north. We ended up in Ladysmith and found a cozy campground there. Our camper buddies from pre-children days, Brent & Missy, brought their camper too so Carter got to play with Brock, and also with the extra 2 kids they had for the weekend (Brady & Amber). The rain came on Saturday afternoon, but the kids made the best of it and ran through the grass where big rain puddles accumulated. It made me remember the days when my sister and I did the same thing. After a big rain fall, our yard always seemed to gather into a pond and we loved sliding on our rear ends! Ahhh, the days when life was so simple and there weren’t any cares in the world… |
